"The Creatures" is a key feature dance program of the Le French May Festival, performed by the aesthetic trend of ballet Ballet Biarritz.
Ballet de Biarritz is a company whose dancers are fully trained in the technique of classical ballet with a contemporary style of expression through the works of Thierry Malandain. There, priority is given to the dancing body, to its frailness, its strength and its sensuality. Whether the form is abstract, narrative, inspired by the history of choreography or stemming from the classical ideal, Man and Dance are at the heart and in the body of Ballet Biarritz. Since the creation of the Ballet Biarritz in 1998, the Company has toured in Europe, the Middle-East, China, Singapore, the USA, Russia, Turkey, Cuba… and tonite it is the first time in Hong Kong.
I enjoyed the perfromance so much and it suddenly reminded me of "The Dance" by Matise....
